GreenLeaf Net Solutions was set up in Skelmersdale, West Lancashire to supply Internet solutions for Local Businesses, Charities and Community Groups.

Qualifications

The company's qualifications range from a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics and Information Systems, graduated from Lancaster University/Edge Hill in 2000. 

In September Colin started a four part course to gain Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator status (MCSA 2003) in Windows Server 2003 technologies.   The four parts comprise of 4 MCP's, which when all completed will convert into MCSA status.  Examinations taken so far:

  • Installing, Configuring, & Administering Windows XP Professional (70-270)
    Exam taken Tuesday 24th November 2009
  • Managing & Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server™ 2003 Environment (70-290)
    Exam taken Tuesday 16th March 2010
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Network Infrastructure (70-291)
    Exam taken Monday 5th July 2010

Adding Further Qualifications for MCSA

To gain MCSA certification in Windows Server 2003, one more Microsoft course/exam is required and this will be taken in the next academic year, the course will be:

  • Managing & Maintaining a Microsoft Exchange Server™ 2003 (70-284)

These qualifications will help Colin's personal development with a better understanding of the technologies used in the ever growing IT Sector and develop the solutions needed by his clients.

We at GreenLeaf Net Solutions are using the following technologies to create websites, for both static and dynamic content.
